A product idea becomes easier to develop when the people working on it share the same brief. Instead of starting with a long ingredient wish list, begin with the experience you want to create and the decisions your team needs to make.
Describe the product in context
Explain the format, the target customer and where the product belongs in a routine. A leave-in hair oil, for example, needs a different discussion from a rinse-off treatment. The texture, fragrance, application method and packaging all influence how that idea will be developed.
YOUREE’s service workflow connects product planning with formula development, packaging procurement, artwork, filling and inspection. A brief is the starting point that helps those activities move in the same direction.
Bring the information that shapes sampling
- Product format: the type of product and how it will be used.
- Target market: the country or region where you plan to launch.
- Product experience: texture, fragrance and packaging preferences.
- Formula route: an existing formula direction, an adjustment or custom development.
- Commercial plan: expected quantity, target cost and launch timing.
- References: examples that explain your preferences, with clear notes on what you like about them.
Leave room for a development conversation
The first brief does not need to answer every technical question. It should make the important decisions visible. After the first samples, record feedback against the original objectives: what should change, what should stay and what needs another evaluation.
That creates a more useful handover between your brand and the development team than a simple “like” or “dislike.” It also makes the next sampling step easier to define.
