A sample-to-production roadmap for beauty brands

Formula approval is one milestone in a larger process. Explore how sampling, packaging, inspection and production fit together in YOUREE’s OEM/ODM workflow.

A successful sample is an important step, but it is not the whole manufacturing plan. The formula, its packaging and the approved product presentation need to come together before a project can move smoothly into production.

Start with the formula route

YOUREE’s customer workflow allows different starting points: a customer-supplied formula, a request for development or a mature formula selected for evaluation. Each route leads to sampling and feedback before the formula is confirmed.

Keep feedback specific. Note the texture, fragrance, appearance, application and any packaging preferences separately. When several variables change at once, a written feedback record helps everyone understand what the next sample should address.

Approve more than the product inside

The development workflow also includes packaging selection, purchasing, artwork preparation and packaging checks. Treat these as connected decisions. The bottle, closure, dispenser, label and outer packaging should reflect the version of the product your team has approved.

  • Confirm the sample version and formula direction.
  • Review the intended container, dispenser and fill volume.
  • Complete packaging compatibility and sealing checks.
  • Check the artwork against the agreed product details.
  • Agree the production plan and inspection requirements.

Connect production with release

In the documented YOUREE workflow, manufacturing is followed by finished-product inspection, warehousing and logistics. Approval of a sample does not replace these later checks: production needs its own records and release decisions.

For your project, ask the team to identify the next approval point and the information still needed to reach it. This keeps the conversation focused on a clear next step, rather than assuming every part of the launch is ready at the same time.
