Why formula and packaging need to be tested together

The container is part of the product experience. YOUREE’s quality workflow connects packaging compatibility, sealing and incoming checks with formula and batch inspection.

A bottle can look right in a presentation and still leave important questions unanswered. How does it work with the formula? Does the closure seal properly? Is the intended fill volume suitable? Packaging evaluation helps bring these questions into the development process.

Review the complete combination

YOUREE’s documented packaging checks include fill volume, formula compatibility, sealing, component fit and material stability. The point is to assess the proposed product as a combination, rather than approving the formula and the container in isolation.

For example, a change to a dispenser or closure should be discussed with the project team alongside the formula and fill requirements. The appearance of the package is only one part of that conversation.

Separate development checks from incoming inspection

The company materials distinguish between testing a new packaging direction and inspecting incoming packaging batches. Routine incoming checks include appearance, dimensions, cleanliness, fill volume, component fit and sealing, alongside print or decoration checks where relevant.

That distinction matters because approval of a development sample does not describe every future packaging delivery. Both the approved specification and the incoming material need a place in the quality workflow.

Connect packaging with product release

YOUREE’s quality materials also describe checks on raw materials, semi-finished formulas and finished products. Batch records and retained samples support review of the product after production.

  • Confirm the formula and packaging versions under review.
  • Discuss compatibility, closure and dispensing requirements.
  • Agree the sample and artwork approvals needed before production.
  • Ask which inspection records accompany the manufacturing process.

Use these conversations to define the checks for your project. A useful approval process makes both the product inside and the package around it part of the same plan.
